is hiring a Fulltime Office Manager at Gastroenterology East, P.A. and Endoscopy Center in Greenville, NC.
SHIFT: MondayFriday (40 hours per week) 8:00 AM5:00 PM.
The Front Office Manager works closely with other departments and location managers. Collaborating, cultivating, and developing strategies to resolve issues and share knowledge. Responsibilities include overseeing front desk and billing operations while encouraging and maintaining a warm, supportive work culture providing high quality, patient-focused care. Strong organizational skills, tactical planning, overcoming obstacles and objectives, and problem-solving skills are essential to success in this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implements strategic plan and organizational goals in cooperation with Practice Manager, Managing Partner and Management team.
Day to day oversight of front desk and billing operations to include patient engagement, facility management, budget management, HR.
Monitors financial performance and key indicators.
Works in cooperation with Practice Manager to develop and implement corrective actions as needed to meet/exceed performance goals
Strategizes methods to meet/exceed monthly budget parameters by working closely with RVP Oversee Revenue Cycle Team to ensure claims processing and collections process meet current compliance initiative.
Creates, analyzes and provides routine and ad hoc reports on practice activities.
A collaborative and communicative approach to drive the organization's vision, objectives, and goals is essential.
Responsible for effectively recruiting, onboarding, developing, managing, and retaining staff.
Analytical and independent thinking, that easily enable you to create strategies that respond to pressure points in the clinical operations, cultivate and mentor staff to perform at their highest potential, and manage change throughout the practice as we continue to grow.
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to effectively convey complicated concepts and information.
Ability to analyze key performance indicators and execute corrective actions to improve performance.
Ability to diagnose problems quickly, communicate them, and have foresight into potential issues.
Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
Bachelor's degree in medical administration, business, or a related area, or comparable experience desired.
5+ years’ experience in progressive roles of leadership.
Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, managed care plans, and medical computer billing systems.
Must possess a working knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment impacting ASC’s, and the applicable standards of the AAAHC, and other regulatory bodies for ambulatory surgery centers.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with physicians and all medical professionals.
Endoscopy experience preferred desirable.
