Property Maintenance Specialist Mountain Home is seeking a part-time Property Maintenance Specialist to care for and maintain Mountain Home’s group living home, five apartment units, child care center, administrative building, and outdoor areas. The Property Manager is responsible for regular maintenance and cleaning duties as well as seasonal, occasional, and one-time maintenance projects. The ideal candidate likes routine tasks and has a passion and talent for troubleshooting. They enjoy working independently and managing/prioritizing their own workload. They are patient and understanding and work well with anyone and everyone, including diverse and marginalized populations. They are trustworthy and dependable. The ideal candidate has 2 or more years of experience with basic housekeeping and facility maintenance duties, is comfortable and/or willing to learn how to use a computer to check email, receive maintenance requests, etc. Who We Are

The Property Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the following:
Conducting regular inspections of equipment to identify any hazards or concerns
Maintaining a clean and organized space for equipment and materials
Purchasing materials and equipment with approval from a supervisor
Completing small repairs on washers/dryers, refrigerators, faucets, toilets, etc.
Replacing air filters, batteries, light bulbs, handles, knobs, etc.
Shoveling snow, dispersing ice melt, raking leaves, trimming bushes, mowing lawns, etc.
Sweeping and power washing sidewalks, patios, and parking lots
Gassing up and cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles
Taking vehicles for repairs and regular maintenance such as oil changes
Cleaning public restrooms, common spaces, windows, doors, floors, and surfaces
Collecting and disposing of garbage and recycling and stocking paper products/supplies
Painting, deep cleaning, organizing, and moving furniture on an as-needed basis
Other appropriate and job-related tasks as assigned
All major HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing concerns will be handled by professionals.
All cleaning supplies and maintenance materials will be provided/ paid for by Mountain Home. Who You Are & Keys to Success

The role requires local travel (5-10% of the time). The base wage for this position is $17 hourly.
