Reports To: HEAP Energy Education ManagerPosition Summary: Responsibility for the accurate and timely input of all customer data from intake forms. With assurance of proper data input into the system. ELEAT (Eastern Los Angeles Energy Assistance Team) Data Entry will ensure that this information is posted for appropriate LBCAP partner agency. Data Entry will provide reports as requested by ELEAT managers and ensure that data systems issues and needs are proactively addressed with proper management for optimum performance.Essentials Duties· Reviews applications for accuracy prior to entering data in computer for two programs.· Enters and tracks customer data into the data processing system to process customerpayments and to generate customized reports for two programs.· Generates weekly rejection reports to ensure for accuracy.· Clears rejected applications that need corrections and re-transports each record to funding source for processing.· Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports to ensure targeted goals are being met.· Works with program staff to ensure that record-keeping systems meet the needs ofthe program.· Ensures customer files are maintained in compliance with reporting and auditingrequirements of two funding sources.· Reviews and inputs program reps assessments and compiles data for approvalfrom funding source.· Maintains reps invoice book for audit from management and funding source.· Compiles monthly data reports for submission to the accounting department andvarious funding sources.· Performs general clerical support functions including filing, copying, faxing,typing, processing applications and data entry.· Process and complete customer applications.· Maintain and enter customer information on to a mail log for all incoming mail.· · Maintains confidentiality of all information and handles sensitive and confidentialinformation in accordance with established procedures.· Attends trainings, meetings and other program activities initiated by programpartners.· Performs other job related duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements: · High School Diploma or equivalent.· 3 years Data Entry or Data Processing Experience· 1 year of administrative or clerical experience· Must have completed or be willing to complete ELEAT data base training from California Department of Community Services Development and / or a reputable and approved education entity.· Read, understand, speak and write English at a level appropriate for theposition.· Read and comprehend relevant contracts, regulations, policy, procedures, management directives, and other appropriate program information.· Ability to make decisions in standard procedural matters without immediate supervision.· Ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.· Perform work duties with an appropriate level of proficiency required by thejob in word processing, email, calendar, spreadsheet, database andpresentation applications, including but not limited to, recent versions ofWindows, MS office, and the Internet.Schedule : Moday - Friday 8am-5pmSalary $16.00 - $17 per hourBenefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Life InsuranceVacation /Sick 401k Plan Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)
